IS200EPSMG1AED is an excitation machine power module designed by General Electric (GE) specifically for its EX2100 excitation system. Here is its detailed information:
Function and purpose: Installed in the EPBP backplane, it converts the 125VDC voltage of the EPDM board into the 5VDC, 15VDC, or 24VDC voltage required by the EX2100 control system, providing logic level power to other controllers and also supplying power to external modules, such as providing 24VDC power to the pry bar module, EDCF, EGDM, and EDEX demagnetization module, and providing 70VDC isolation power to the ECTB and EXTB modules for contact wetting, ensuring stable and reliable operation of the excitation system.

There are five transistors with heat sinks located directly behind the front panel, and four heat dissipation elements on the surface. High voltage electrolytic capacitors, axial electrolytic capacitors, metal film resistors, and carbon composite resistors are used. There are nine fuses, multiple integrated circuits, two test points, and two backplane connectors.
