Input Port Configuration: It has 64 optically coupled digital input terminals, divided into eight input ports, each 8 bits wide. These ports are arranged as eight consecutive 8-bit read-only registers, and each 8-bit port can be individually addressed at any position within an 8-bit or 16-bit boundary.

Access Rights: Address modifier bits are decoded to support short supervisory or non-privileged short I/O access. A jumper is provided to support this option, and the circuit board is factory-configured for short supervisory I/O access.
