Functional Features
Input channel: Includes 8 independent isolated analog input channels of 4-20mA, supporting any combination of standard 4-20mA devices and HART devices.
Communication function: It can serve as a host for HART communication field devices, enabling Foxboro DCS to request and receive two digital messages from field devices per second. Supports HART universal commands, universal practice commands, and device specific commands, but does not support burst communication mode.
Signal processing: Each input channel has a dedicated FSK modem for bidirectional digital communication with HART field devices, which can perform analog-to-digital conversion on 4-20mA input signals from HART devices.
Isolation protection: The 8 input channels are isolated from each other, ground, and module logic using independent current isolation, which has good anti-interference ability and safety.
