• Processor: It is typically equipped with a 32MHz MC68040 enhanced 32-bit microprocessor, featuring an 8KB cache, a Memory Management Unit (MMU), and a Floating-Point Unit (FPU), which can provide strong computing capabilities.
• Memory: It has 4MB, 8MB, or 16MB of shared DRAM. Additionally, it is equipped with 512KB of SRAM with a backup battery, which can save important data in case of power failure. There is also 1MB of flash memory for on-board monitors/debuggers or user-installed firmware.

• Bus Interface: It has an A32/D64 VMEbus master/slave interface with system controller functionality. It supports DMA (Direct Memory Access) for VMEbus D64 and local bus memory burst cycles, enabling high-speed data transmission.
• Communication Interfaces: It comes with an optional LAN Ethernet transceiver interface with DMA, facilitating network connection and realizing remote data transmission. It also has two serial ports, conforming to EIA-232-D and EIA-232-D/EIA-530 standards respectively, which can be used to connect other serial port devices.

• Timers: Equipped with 6 tick timers with watchdog timers, which can be used for timing control, system monitoring and other functions to improve the stability and reliability of the system.
• Status Monitoring and Alarming: It can report status bits to the PLC. Bits 1–8 provide basic module diagnostics; bits 9–24 contain high-alarm and low-alarm statuses for channels 1–8; bits 25–40 contain high-alarm and low-alarm statuses for channels 9–16. These can be used for real-time monitoring of module operating status and related parameter alarms.
• Current Input Ranges: Supports current input ranges such as 4-20mA (default), 0-20mA, or 4-20mA enhanced. Within different ranges, the input current is reported to the CPU in corresponding unit values. For example, in the 4-20mA range, the input current of 4 to 20mA is reported to the CPU as a value ranging from 0 to 32000 units.
