IS200EPSMG1AEC is an excitation machine power module in the EX2100 excitation control series of General Electric (GE). Here is its detailed information:

 

 

Function: Mainly responsible for converting the 125VDC voltage of the EPDM board into various voltages required by the EX2100 control system, such as 5VDC, 15VDC, or 24VDC. Among them, the 24VDC power supply is provided to the crowbar module, EDCF, EGDM, and EDEX de excitation module to supply power to the excitation system of the generator, ensuring stable and reliable operation.

 

Hardware Design: The front panel includes seven LED lights labeled P5, P15, N15, P24A, P24B, N24B, and P70, as well as the GE logo and board identification number. There are large components on the board, such as a transformer with a frame, a large inductor labeled Bicron B9309 0912, and a smaller inductor coil L2. There are five transistors with heat sinks located directly behind the front panel, and four heat dissipation elements on the surface. High voltage electrolytic capacitors, axial electrolytic capacitors, metal film resistors, and carbon composite resistors are used. There are nine fuses, multiple integrated circuits, two test points, and two backplane connectors.
