IS200EGDMH1ADF is an excitation field grounding detection module produced by General Electric (GE), belonging to the EX2100 excitation control series. Here is its detailed information:
Function and purpose: Mainly used to detect the grounding situation of the excitation machine on site, it can be installed on the excitation power supply backplane bracket in the excitation control cabinet, close to the EPSM module. It can be used in conjunction with the EXAM module to determine the possibility of on-site ground leakage at any point on the DC or AC side, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the excitation system.
Working principle: When the EGDM module and DSPX module are connected through optical fiber, the EGDM module will transmit the relevant voltage to the DSPX module through optical fiber. After checking the voltage, the DSPX module will issue an alarm according to the situation.
Applicable systems: Can run on both standalone and redundant systems. Single machine systems typically require one EGDM module, while redundant systems require three EGDM modules.
