The T8312-4 ensures reliable communication and supports fault-tolerant functions, enabling reliable operation in mission-critical environments.

Settings are configured via DIP switches. The controller chassis ID is set to No. 1, and expansion chassis IDs can be set to No. 2 to No. 8 (the first group of 7 chassis). If additional chassis are required, another adapter can be used, with IDs set to No. 9 to No. 15 in the software.
The T8312-4 is built with a Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) architecture, which includes three identical and independent processing modules. These modules perform the same calculations simultaneously, and the system uses a voting mechanism to determine the correct output. If one of the modules fails, the other two can continue to operate at full capacity, providing maximum fault tolerance and system availability.
