The ICS Triplex T8110C is a processor based on Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) technology and serves as the main processing component in the Trusted System. It is a user-configurable module that provides overall system control and monitoring functions. It processes input and output data received from various analog and digital input/output (I/O) modules through the Trusted TMR inter-module communication bus. It is suitable for scenarios with high safety requirements such as fire and gas control, emergency shutdown, monitoring and control, and turbine control.
- Power Supply: Operating voltage ranges from 20 to 32Vdc; maximum load is 80W; power consumption is approximately 80W.
- Processor Performance: Adopts a 32-bit Reduced Instruction Set Computing (RISC) architecture with a processor clock speed of 100MHz, enabling fast processing of complex control tasks.
- Memory Configuration: 16MB EDO 60ns DRAM, 512KB EPROM, 128KB NVRAM, and 4KB per variable for retained variable storage.
- Sequence of Events (SOE) Buffer: The SOE buffer can store 1000 events and can transmit data to the CI buffer which holds 4000 events.
- Communication Interfaces: Equipped with a front-panel RS232 serial diagnostic port for system monitoring, configuration, and programming. Some models (T8110B) support IRIG-B002 and 122 time synchronization signals and have two configurable RS422/485 connections (2-wire or 4-wire).
- Mechanical Parameters: Dimensions are 266mm in height, 93mm in width, and 303mm in depth; weight is 2.94kg.
- Operating Environment: Operating temperature ranges from 0°C to 60°C; non-operating temperature ranges from -25°C to 70°C; relative humidity is 10% to 95% (non-condensing).

- High Reliability: Adopts TMR architecture and Hardware-Implemented Fault Tolerance (HIFT) design, with automatic fault handling capability. It can alarm without interference when a fault occurs, and facilitates troubleshooting through time-stamped fault history records.
- Hot-Swap Function: Supports hot swapping without the need to reload programs. Modules can be replaced during system operation without affecting normal system operation.
- Programming Support: Compatible with the full set of IEC 61131-3 programming languages, making it convenient for engineers to program and configure the system.
- Status Display: The front panel is equipped with indicator lights, which can intuitively show the module’s operating status and conditions, facilitating real-time monitoring.
The module has a regular size and can be installed in standard industrial control cabinets, usually used with racks such as T8100. It connects to other I/O modules via the inter-module bus to achieve data interaction. Meanwhile, it can be connected to programming devices or other related systems through interfaces such as RS232 for debugging and monitoring.
- Regularly check the status indicators on the front panel of the module. If a red flashing light appears, it indicates that the module may have a fault, and the cause needs to be checked in a timely manner.
- The module supports hot swapping, but during replacement, it is still necessary to follow operational specifications and replace the module according to the backup module configuration type (matching slot or smart slot) configured in the system.
- Ensure the module operates within the specified temperature and humidity ranges, and avoid using it in environments with strong electromagnetic interference to ensure stable performance and accurate data transmission
