IC697MDL653 Discrete input module in Fanuc 90-70 series

It is mainly used to collect signals from on-site equipment and convert them into digital signals that can be processed by PLC. - Hardware Connection: Install the module in an IC697CHS750 5-slot rack, powered by an IC697PWR711 power supply, and paired with an IC697CPX782 central processing unit. Ensure correct power connection, pay attention to terminal polarity, and connect the negative pole of the 24V DC power supply to terminals 10, 20, 30, 40 (the positive pole can also be connected according to actual conditions, with the other end connected to the negative pole).
- Software Settings: Open Proficy Machine Edition software, create a new file, select the IC697CHS750 5-slot rack, and add the IC697PWR711 power supply, IC697CPX782 processor, and the IC697MDL653 module located in slot 2. Pay attention to checking the reference address of the module, such as %I – 00001.
- Testing Operation: Put the CPU in run mode, use a positive probe to touch the terminals corresponding to each input channel in sequence, observe whether the LED indicators on the module light up, and check whether the channel values in the input table in the software change from 0 to 1 to determine whether each channel works normally.
