Functional Features
Communication control: As the controller of Genius I/O bus, responsible for coordinating the communication between devices on the bus, achieving accurate data transmission and collaborative work between devices. Supports up to 30 branch device connections, can scan IC66 * input/output modules, and transmit I/O data to CPU through IC697 PLC backplane.
Diagnosis and maintenance: Equipped with IC66 * (IC660 or IC661) I/O diagnostic function, it can timely detect and report faults of devices on the bus. It also supports redundant modules, cables, and CPUs to improve the reliability and fault tolerance of the system. Manage faults through the PLC alarm processor function, timestamp faults, and queue them in a table.
Communication function: Supports global communication and can transmit global data between multiple PLCs and hosts. Equipped with a handheld monitoring port, it is easy to connect handheld monitoring devices for on-site configuration and monitoring. Supports IC66 * LAN communication, enabling peer-to-peer information transmission with other devices (such as bus controllers, PCIM, etc.) through the IC66 * bus, achieving wider system integration and data exchange.
