Functional purpose:
As an I/O board, it is used for industrial automation and control systems, supporting the input and output of digital signals, and can be connected to various digital signal sources and actuators to achieve digital signal transmission and processing, providing data acquisition, control, and monitoring functions for equipment.
As a CD-ROM drive module, it is a 6U single slot VMEbus module that provides multi session CD-ROM drive functionality for VMIC’s embedded VMEbus computer series, compatible with CD-I, video CD, enhanced CD, and CD PLUS, among others.
Connecting to Ethernet APL: Provides connectivity to Ethernet APL and application software, enabling the migration of existing HART and Modbus devices to Ethernet APL.
