IS200EGDMH1AFF is a product of General Electric (GE) and belongs to the EX2100 excitation control series. It is an excitation machine magnetic field grounding detection module. Here is its detailed information:
Functional purpose: Used to detect the grounding situation of the excitation machine on site, by detecting any grounding potential and reminding the operator to pay attention to potential problems, ensuring the safety and normal operation of the excitation machine on site. This module can be installed on the excitation power supply backplane rack in the excitation control cabinet, near the EPSM module. It can be used in conjunction with the EXAM module to determine the possibility of on-site ground leakage at any point on the DC or AC side.
Working principle: When the EGDM module and DSPX module are connected through optical fiber, the EGDM module transmits the used voltage to the DSPX module through optical fiber, and the DSPX module checks the voltage and issues an alarm according to the situation.
Indicator lights: There are three LED indicator lights on the module panel, namely the power indicator light, activity indicator light, and main selection indicator light, which are used to display the working status of the module.
